Emerging Markets

Many areas throughout the world still lack basic services such as a clean trustworthy source of water and reliable power. East Bay is forming alliances with the Governments and political institutions of emerging countries to help address these needs. We also support Global Housing Partners in their efforts to bring affordable housing to these emerging markets. Whether extending services and infrastructure to existing underdeveloped communities or developing entirely new communities, we are finding that these relationships present opportunities for a win-win between those in need, the local Governments and our private sector team. Bringing the investment and the knowledge to effectively provide these improvements has provided us the opportunity to forge many new relationships with local companies and to generate economic development and jobs in these often remote areas.

As of today, East Bay Group is working in the Bahamas, Honduras, El Salvador, Panama, and Nigeria actively developing programs to support the continued growth of their economies.
